Manual updates and rollback

Only one setup source

https://locwiz.com is the only authorized download location. GitHub, LinkedIn, X, mirrors, provider installers, and email do not host the LocWiz setup.

Every public setup entry must show its exact filename, version, x64 architecture, size, SHA-256, Windows publisher signature, release date, release notes, Windows support boundary, data compatibility, and rollback status.

Update checklist

1. Finish work and close LocWiz and any provider terminal it opened.
2. Back up %APPDATA%\LocWiz while the app is closed, plus any important external/project-local state.
3. Download the newer signed x64 setup only from this site.
4. Verify its publisher signature and SHA-256 against the same HTTPS release entry.
5. Install over the existing app unless that release explicitly requires uninstall first.
6. Launch LocWiz, confirm the Core version, projects/resources/chats, and a non-sensitive provider status.
7. Keep the backup until ordinary work has been verified.

Rollback

The first public 0.1.0 has no earlier public version. Later 0.1.x releases will identify the previous supported installer or state that it was security-revoked.

1. Do not roll back to a release marked security-revoked.
2. Close LocWiz and make a second backup of current app data.
3. Uninstall the current app; LocWiz app data is preserved.
4. Download and verify the explicitly listed previous supported setup from this site.
5. If the newer release migrated data incompatibly, restore the backup made before that update while both versions are closed.
6. Verify version and synthetic/local state before reopening confidential work.

Security notices

A fixed setup and its hash/signature are published here. A notice names affected versions, mitigation, data compatibility, required update steps, and whether rollback is prohibited. Social posts only link to this canonical notice.
